2006 Official Tournament Results

The Crown Royal Racers’ Invitational Fishing Tournament, now in its 5th year, was hosted by UpTime, Ltd. on Wednesday, November 15th, at the scenic Holiday Isle Resort and Marina in Islamorada, Florida, situated in the beautiful Florida Keys. This unique event brought together NASCAR sponsors, drivers, and crews, uniting them in friendly competition with NFL Alumni Players. The tournament featured both an Offshore Division and a Backcountry Division, marking the exciting commencement of Ford NASCAR Championship Week at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Robert Van Norman and Drew Patey, the Tournament Directors, bestowed the unique commemorative trophies crafted by renowned nautical artist Carey Chen. These prestigious awards were given to the anglers and esteemed event sponsors, including Crown Royal, Holiday Isle Resort, and UpTime Computer Company. Notably, the Racers Invitational Fishing Tournament contributes to the charitable endeavors of the Islamorada Charter Boat Association.
